Description: Snowmen were a popular theme in children´s books during the Biedermeier period (1830-1850). By that time the character had developed the familiar round and friendly shape we know today. Our snowman dons a top hat, carrot nose, and holds a broom. He is accompanied by a boy wearing a hat, mittens, and scarf. This mold has been featured in Martha Stewart magazine.
